Piu 2.0 is a new generation belay device specifically designed for popular thinner ropes. When bending the rope over the belay edge of the device, notches help the belayer get a better grip, increasing the rope's braking efficiency, especially with thinner diameters. The CAMP PIU 2.0 bucket allows the bucket to be rotated into auto-blocking mode - thanks to the large opening, which the bucket can be clipped to the stand with a carabiner. If you need to release the belay in auto-locking mode, just hook another carabiner (e.g.: CAMP HMS Nitro or CAMP HMS Core Lock) behind the front hole, which is designed to slowly release the rope when loaded.
