Teufelberger AntiSHOCK Tool Lanyard
The AntiSHOCK Tool Lanyard is another innovation for arborists from Teufelberger.
What makes this tool lanyard so exceptional is the way it absorbs forces.
In the event that a force greater than 220–240 daN acts on the lanyard – for example, if your saw gets stuck in a branch you are trying to cut off – the tear-off strap will activate.
This will reduce the force acting on the harness, fall protection system, and the climber’s anchor point to 150–180 daN.
The result is that this product helps to prevent injuries.
The strap tears until the impact force is absorbed.
If the saw does not release, the strap will tear completely after 70 cm and the tool will fall to the ground.
Thanks to a special pre-treatment of the fibers, the elastic strap is extremely resistant to abrasion.
