PROTOS® provides a two-year warranty against any manufacturing defects on the PROTOS® BT-COM communication system. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and is valid in all European countries.
In the event of defects within the warranty period, the product may be returned to the PROTOS® dealer at the customer's expense, together with proof of purchase and a description of the defect. PROTOS® / or a PROTOS® dealer authorised to carry out repairs will repair the product and return it to the customer free of charge.
The warranty is limited to the value of the product. It does not cover damage caused by improper handling or negligence, wear and tear, principles or acids. The warranty also does not cover damage caused by temperature, signs of wear or damage caused by the user. If the product is damaged for these or similar reasons, or if this is discovered after the warranty period has expired, PROTOS® or a PROTOS® dealer authorised to carry out repairs can inform the customer and offer them a repair for a fee. If it is not clear whether it is a warranty case, the final assessment is the responsibility of PROTOS GmbH.
The same applies to PROTOS® BT-COM microphones with a warranty period of 6 months and to PROTOS® BT-COM batteries with a warranty period of 12 months.
