The Turbofoot Evo is an updated foot ascenders with rotating bells for ascending the rope. The rollers are placed at the point where the rope shakes the most during movement and touches the body ascender. They ensure maximum smooth passage in this stressed area and thus significantly increase the service life of both the ascender itself and the rope. The toothed cam is equipped with special wear protection and includes drainage holes to prevent the accumulation of mud, sand, or ice. The innovative strap design ensures secure attachment to all types of boots while guaranteeing the highest efficiency when ascending. The swivel bells also allow the Turbofoot Evo to be used as a safety pulley for transporting lightweight items up to 50kg. In no case, however, shall this system be used to secure a person during a rescue.

A newly modified cam switch allows the ascender to be set in two modes: cam release for rope removal or insertion and fixed cam lock to prevent cam release during ascent.
