A fall arrestor specifically designed for rope access, complying with EN 12841-A.
It was designed to remain above the user at all times, thus reducing the potential fall factor to a minimum.
Main features:
Allows safe ascent and descent by vertical belay, locks immediately in case of a fall
Included is a lanyard that allows the user to continuously pull the interceptor with them as they rappel. The lanyard is connected to an automatic release system so that in the event of a fall or panic, the catcher will instantly stay in place.
Hole for auxiliary carabiner, which is used to withdraw the catcher under load
The catcher must be connected to the harness by LINK 20 (working load 140kg), LINK 40 (working load 140kg) or LINK 30+ (working load 250kg)
In combination with the LINK 30+, the interceptor is ideal for rescue operations (allows 2 person load)
