The GOBLIN mobile fall arrest system represents a significant step forward in safety at heights. It is designed for use with 10-11 mm diameter static rope. The shape of the cam ensures smooth movement on the rope, both when ascending and descending. For even greater user comfort, the use of a plastic CAMP Rope Surfer sleeve, fitted to one of two types of loops CAMP Goblin Lanyard or Goblin Rope Lanyard (not included).

When a fall is caught, the rope is loaded much more gently than in the case of mechanisms equipped with teeth, thanks to a very short slip which (without the need for a fall damper) reduces the impact force (the force acting on the user's body at the moment of catching the fall) to half the values common in other devices.

Switching between output and salting is very simple and is done at the touch of a button. The forged stainless steel cam and other mechanical parts combined with solid aluminium alloy sidewalls guarantee exceptional durability and product longevity.

Standards:

• EN 12841A/B for use in rope access as a back-up fall arrest device placed on a safety rope or as a blocking device for the ascent of persons with a maximum weight of 120 kg on a working rope. It can also be used for rescue in rope access with a max. load of 200 kg.
• EN 353-2 for use as a fall arrest device for persons with a maximum weight of 120 kg using certified ropes.
• ANSI Z359.1 for use as a fall arrest device for persons weighing 130 kg / 300 lbs max, certified with Lithium 11mm rope with sewn eyelets.
