The 16mm diameter working arborist rope is designed for lowering branches. The rope is double braided 100% Polyester with Polyurethane coating for better abrasion resistance and has an excellent strength to diameter ratio.
The regulations require the use of a factor of 7 for all lowering ropes. If the rope load is divided by the coefficient 7 = working load limit. The weight of the lowered branches must not exceed this limit to maintain safety. In Beal wire ropes, the rope diameters are colour-coded for better orientation when working.
