Skylotec The Milan 2.0 Hub is one of the world's most popular automatically controlled descent devices that allows simultaneous and rapid evacuation of two people from a structure, be it a wind turbine, tower crane, telecommunications mast, etc., using a centrifugally controlled reinforced brake that maintains a constant speed throughout the descent.

This "Hub" version (with a wheel) also allows the casualty to be lifted a short distance (for example if the rescuer needs to free the casualty from the structure, i.e. if they have fallen on a rope/rope), the casualty can then be safely lowered to the ground.

The rope has connectors on both ends that allow it to be used in a yo-yo fashion, so once the first evacuees are on the ground, the next evacuees can connect and escape without having to recharge the device/stretch the rope.
