The SHERMAN arborist harness is the result of long-term development in
cooperation with professionals in the field of tree climbing. It is an extremely comfortable
and sturdy harness, made of high quality European materials
for maximum durability and product longevity even under the most demanding
professional deployment. Because the demands and techniques of arborists are very individual,
we paid special attention to the flexibility of the working hours and the variability of all
its elements in various climbing and positioning techniques. A not insignificant
the advantage of the product is also its favourable weight, especially due to the rich
seat features, a multitude of functional details and attachments.
The harness impresses at first sight with its extra wide ergonomically shaped
padded waist and legs. This ensures a comfortable fit, allows
a remarkably large range of mobility and ensures comfort even during all-day
movement in the tree. The force applied to the body is distributed at the waist by
4 carrying straps. The main seat straps (waist, legs) are fitted with
sophisticated aluminium quick-release buckles for easy and intuitive handling,
even in work gloves.
SHERMAN offers enough elements for anchoring and positioning: two different
long rope bridges (both included in the harness), they are adjustable in length,
one is with an aluminum ring. Each of the ends of the rope bridge is
mounted in a stainless steel D-ring, always in a separate hole. Optimized by
for 11 mm static ropes. The length of the bridges can be easily adjusted using the nodes on the
end of the rope. Both rope bridges are easily replaceable, in case of damage
or excessive wear and tear. The harness also has two positioning
connection points (EN 358) on the sides of the harness.
The great advantage of the seat cushion is the number of points for attaching the material and their
maximum variability. On both sides there is a slot for connecting a large carry-tool
rifles. Furthermore 3 classic shaped material loops.

Holes for a resealable cord (included), from which you can create
other material loops according to the individual needs of each user.
In the middle of the lumbar part there is a strap (with aluminium hook) for
first aid kit fixation (not included) and shoulder strap
(for fixation of the thoracic blocker). The attachment points are further complemented by 4 loops
with a steel ring for attaching e.g. a chainsaw.
The trousers are connected to the belt at the back with an adjustable elastic
strap, made of robust and very durable material. Ergonomics of the harness
can be further adjusted by adjustable straps (width 20 mm), which
it is possible to pull the legs on the sides closer to the waistband to fine-tune
optimum angle between the legs and the belt for comfortable suspension in the rope.
These straps are replaceable, in case of damage or wear.
Both SHERMAN and SKILL TREE arborist harnesses are manufactured in Europe
made from the highest quality materials for maximum durability.
Worn parts can be replaced under warranty and after-warranty service.
