Lightweight, multi-purpose rappel and belay brake; can be used to catch a second climber in Reverso mode.

The lightweight REVERSO is a multifunctional belay and rappel brake designed for sport rock climbing, multi-length climbing and alpinism. The Reverso mode allows assisted braking when one or two second climbers are picked up from the belay station from above. It allows the adaptation of various rope diameters: single ropes 8.5 to 10.5 mm, half ropes 7.1 to 9.2 mm and double ropes 6.9 to 9.2 mm. The special design of the rope grooves allows for smooth sliding and reduced rope wear.

Multi-purpose and easy to use:

• classic belay technique with both hands on the rope
• the ropes pass smoothly through the brake
• can be used for salting
• reverso mode for picking up one or two climbers; commonly used in multi-pitch climbing
• independent and simultaneous locking of two second climbers in Reverso mode
• when belaying in Reverso mode, the carabiner located in the release hole allows the breaker to release the rope that is under tension
• installation drawings of the cable installation for securing and Reverso mode shown on the brake body

Adaptable to a wide range of rope diameters:

• v-shaped friction grooves allow braking control
• compatible with 8.5 to 10.5 mm diameter dynamic slack ropes (11 mm possible, depending on rope flexibility)
• compatible with dynamic half ropes with a diameter of 7.1 to 9.2
• compatible with dynamic double ropes with a diameter of 6.9 to 9.2 mm
