Designed for climbing, mountaineering and skitouring, the METEOR helmet is lightweight, low profile and well ventilated, making it comfortable in both summer and winter. The design provides reinforced protection from above and around the head. METEOR is the first CE certified helmet for skitouring. It is equipped with integrated points for ski goggles or shield. This helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for alpine ski helmets.

Lightweight, low, ventilated helmet:

• Size S/M weighs 225 g and size M/L 240 g
• Low profile helmet achieved by using an extruded polystyrene foam (EPS) lined construction that is injection moulded into a lightweight polycarbonate shell
• Large air vents offer excellent air ventilation
• Quality finish and elegant design

Improved protection:

• Designed according to the label Petzl TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION
• Designed for optimum protection against side, frontal and rear impacts

Suitable for skitouring:

• CE certified helmet for skitouring
• Optimal ventilation both during ascent and descent, the helmet can be worn comfortably throughout the hike
• The front part of the helmet is specially designed to integrate ski goggles
• The back elastic strap is compatible with the elastic strap of ski goggles
• Semi-rigid head strap is easy to adjust even with gloves
• Two front clips and a rear elastic strap for attaching the headlamp to the helmet
