ABSORBICA-Y MGO is a double fastener with integrated fall damper, designed for movement on vertical structures or along horizontal securing lines (textile or steel rope) with progressive anchor points. It has several installation options on the harness and can be used with different types of carabiners. It is available in two lengths, 80 or 150 cm (without carabiners). The 150 cm version has elastic loops so as not to restrict progress. With MGO couplings, ABSORBICA-Y MGO is certified according to European and Russian standards.

Absorbs impact energy in the event of a fall:

• Gradual ripping of the strap seams absorbs the energy of the fall and absorbs the impact force on the user
• For user weight from 50 to 130 kg including equipment
• Progressive ripping reduces slow ripping in light users

Small size:

• Compact, for ease of handling
• The 150 cm version has elasticated drawstring loops to avoid restricting progress
• Durable fabric sleeve with opening system at each end, protects the absorber from abrasion or dirt and allows regular inspection of the absorber

Two options for installation on the harness, depending on the application:

• For frequent attachment/detachment, use a carabiner with STRING protector (included) or MICRO SWIVEL swivel to prevent tangling
• For low frequency disconnection, use the RING OPEN connection ring, whose circular shape ensures optimal positioning, or the SWIVEL OPEN swivel to prevent tangling

Two variants of carabiners at the ends of the loops:

• Supplied with two special high capacity MGO couplings
• Available in two lengths, 80 and 150 cm
