| SCARPA LADAKH GTX with a one-piece upper made of the finest 2.6 mm thick nubuck leather is a classic for demanding users. Ideal for long backpacking trips, winter hikes and hunting. The production process of this shoe is very demanding and unique, the leather upper is strung several times in succession on the hoof and gradually formed into the desired shape at intervals, with minimal stress on the leather, thanks to which the shoe is stable in shape for a long time, without the need to adjust it by cutting and sewing. Even on this classic, modern technologies are used, such as: HS12 impregnation is already applied when processing the leather, which increases the water resistance and toughness of the leather itself. ACTIVimpact are soles with maximum shock absorption and minimize energy loss when moving on difficult terrain. ACTIVfit is a system from SCARPA, developed for absolute comfort, convenience and protection of the foot. The ACTIVfit system uses different hoof shapes, soles, reinforcements, self-welding pads, lacing systems and also divides models specifically for women's and men's feet. For ultimate comfort, the Performance Comfort Gore-Tex membrane is used. Shoes made in Italy by the family company SCARPA , which has been manufacturing shoes since 1938.
